Tree-Ripe ruby-red grapefruit comes to you directly from our partner farm, Rio Citrus in Fort Pierce, FL, and is left on the tree until the last possible moment before we bring it to our customers. Citrus fruit stops ripening the day it is picked, but leaving grapefruit on the tree for as long as possible allows them to fully ripen and get sweeter and juicier. Our grapefruit can have almost as much sugar content as an orange; it is mostly seedless and has a lower acid content - so easy to enjoy!
